About the Author
ADJohnson is a passionate writer whose journey began in ninth grade as a member of her high school's Poetry Club. This was where she first learned to share her work and trust the process of creative vulnerability through workshopping and sharing her pieces in public library readings. These beginnings inspired the start of writing full-length novels and gaining a hunger for sharpening her craft.
She moved on to the University of West Georgia--a school she picked specifically for its English program. She didn't yet know where life was going to take her, and she didn't much care about obtaining a degree, but she knew she wanted to become a better writer. So she majored in English and double-minored in Creative Writing and Film. She showcased her talent with three short stories published in the university's literary magazine, Eclectic, and participated in additional extracurricular writing clubs.
With a diverse writing career that includes collaborations on a children's book and screenplays, she has finally circled back to her original dream of devoting her talents to becoming a full-time author. Her debut memoir, In-Between, reflects her desire to inspire creativity and healing in others through storytelling.
